On December 16th, 2021, Professor Kim Jiwon of the College of Creative Future Talent was selected as one of the ‘2021’s Top 50 Excellence in Academia and Research Projects,’ and she thereby received the Minister of Education Award.

Professor Kim's research article, published in the journal, Korea Journal (A & HCI), objectively analyzes the migration motives and adaptation efforts of women in photos from the Japanese colonial period. It captured and revealed their pioneering spirit, role and contribution in the period. Her efforts on this helped this issue gain recognition from history specialists at overseas academic institutions.
