Gyeonggi Province participated in the Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair (KITF)—the largest medical tourism and healthcare industry exhibition in Central Asia—held at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from April 24 to 26.

Under the theme “Medical Treatment in Korea,” Gyeonggi Province operated a promotional booth to showcase the excellence of medical institutions within the region. During this event, 11 medical institutions from Gyeonggi Province, including Bundang Jaesaeng General Hospital, were introduced, resulting in productive consultations between hospitals and agencies as well as the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).

Bundang Jaesaeng General Hospital has been attracting international patients since opening its International Healthcare Center in 2012. Today, more than 1,700 foreign patients visit the hospital each year, placing it among the top-performing medical institutions in Gyeonggi Province.
